If you have heard standard definitions of Agile, you might ask: “Why does Techzen choose this method among hundreds of others?”
In reality, every business’s digital transformation journey is filled with variables—from rapid market shifts to concerns about optimizing resources effectively. For us, Agile is not just about Sprint meetings or Kanban boards; it is how we fulfill our promise: “Good people make good products” and serving as a solid anchor for businesses facing these challenges.
1. Agile: More Than a Method, It’s an Adaptive Mindset
Agile is a software development approach focused on breaking projects into short phases (Sprints). Instead of waiting months to see results, clients receive a partially completed, functional product every 1-2 weeks. This approach ensures businesses remain proactive and confident, as every step is verified immediately.
According to The Standish Group (CHAOS Report), projects applying Agile have a success rate three times higher than the traditional Waterfall model. At Techzen, we realize this statistic by addressing our clients’ biggest concerns:
- Rapid Response: Features are adapted the moment the market fluctuates, ensuring technology solutions always align with business flows.
- Cost Optimization: We eliminate unnecessary features and focus on the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and core values, helping businesses invest in the right place at the right time.
- Absolute Transparency: Clients participate directly in the product review process, building trust based on tangible results delivered on time.
2. The Intersection of Agile and “Zen” Philosophy at Techzen
At Techzen, we believe: “Kind people create kind products.” We understand that behind every project lies the dedication and expectation for sustainable development of an entire collective. To realize this, we infuse the Zen spirit into our Agile operations:
- Focus: Our engineering team applies mindfulness to eliminate distractions, channeling full intellectual power into the toughest technical problems. This ensures the project achieves the highest level of sophistication and perfection.
- Simplicity: We prioritize leanness in design and source code. Code must not only run but must be Clean Code and easy to maintain, creating a solid foundation for future system expansion.
- Transparency: Every progress update or risk is displayed in Real-time. We choose straightforward dialogue and work with clients to find the optimal solution. This sincere companionship is the key to reaching the final destination together.
3. TechKan: Turning Theory into Action
Agile would be just a slogan without supporting tools. Techzen has developed and applied TechKan—a specialized project management system based on the Agile Scrum model to optimize this process.
Through TechKan, we enforce a strict Definition of Done (DoD): A feature is only handed over after passing rigorous Testing processes and meeting User Experience standards. This is how we guarantee the quality of every project, from small-scale applications to complex ERP systems.
“Scrum is the art of doing twice the work in half the time.” — Jeff Sutherland (Co-creator of Scrum).
At Techzen, we use TechKan to turn this philosophy into reality, helping clients optimize resources and time-to-market.
4. Conclusion
