On February 28th, nearly 100 students participated in a seminar titled “The Journey of an Engineer in Japan,” where Lê Duy Linh, CEO of Techzen, shared his real-life experiences from studying to working in Japan’s professional environment.

Beyond discussing how to adapt to the Japanese workplace, Mr. Linh also provided practical advice on personal financial management. According to him, the most important thing when going to Japan is “Be yourself, integrate but don’t lose your identity,” while also understanding and respecting Japanese culture.

The seminar was also an opportunity for him to address students’ questions about studying in Japan and offer key advice: Learn and apply Japan’s strengths—its strong work ethic, continuous learning culture, and Agile working processes—to develop sustainably.
Hopefully, Mr. Lê Duy Linh’s insights will inspire students at DUT on their journey to building a successful career in Japan.
