To provide first-year students with a real-world perspective on the tech industry and a clear roadmap for their IT careers, Techzen recently partnered with FPT Polytechnic to host an Office Tour & Workshop titled “First-Year IT Journey: Smart Coding with AI” on October 16, 2026.
The event welcomed faculty representatives along with over 30 first-year IT students from FPT Polytechnic, offering them an exciting opportunity to experience a professional corporate environment early in their academic journey.
Experiencing the Workplace Culture via Office Tour
The event kicked off with an immersive office tour at Techzen. Guided by our HR team, the students explored various working areas, project spaces, meeting rooms, and the vibrant pantry/relaxation zone.
Beyond experiencing Techzen’s young and open culture, the students gained valuable insights into the real-world software development lifecycle. This hands-on tour gave them a clearer picture of day-to-day workplace operations and potential career paths in IT.
Workshop: “First-Year IT Journey – Smart Coding with AI”
The highlight of the event was an intensive 60-minute workshop tailored to address common challenges faced by freshmen starting out in tech.
During the session, Techzen’s speaker illustrated a typical “Day in the Life of a Software Engineer” and shared a recommended growth roadmap.
Interactive Activities & Recognition
The event concluded with an energetic mini-game (Duck Race) and an interactive Q&A session. Key topics—including study methods, recruitment requirements, and internship opportunities — were thoroughly addressed by the Techzen team.
